Kanu Nwankwo was sidelined for nine months just after winning Olympic gold in 1996, when doctors at his Italian club Inter Milan found a heart defect.

He was allowed to resume his career after a successful operation in Ohio in the United States. He had further heart surgery in 2014.

After that time, he made up his mind that he would not let another child die from heart problems. So far, his foundation has facilitated 538 successful operations in England, India, Nigeria and Isreal. He wants to build five Cardiac hospital in five African countries at a cost of 17million dollars each.

This is what it means to be a man, you are not just about yourself alone. Run away from a man who is self centred, he certainly will not do much to promote your purpose. Any man who does not see beyond himself will certainly be a bad choice!

WAITING ON A NOBODY: THE ONE IN A MILLION MESSI

Messi met this lady, Antonella Roccuzzo as a child. We could say they were childhood sweethearts.  The only thing Messi wanted to do at that time was play football. Even though he was a nobody, the lady was not in a hurry to discredit him.

Messi joined FC Barcelona at 13, with hopes of a great future. The lady believed so much in him and was not in a hurry to put him off as a joke. In a short while, both of them would finally say I DO!. Wowwwwww, which woman would not want to marry Messi? Now, the guy has got power, money, fame and everything that you can think of that makes life beautiful, but a woman was there when he had nothing? How many young ladies today would have the patience to wait on a nobody? Thank God her wait paid  off! Who knows, maybe that your boyfriend who has nothing now could also hit gold soon like Messi?
